I've said this before, but I really want to start updating here more regularly, so people have a central place to come and see what's going on at ELG. So, in hopes of this sticking this time, now that the business is really starting to roll forward, here we go!
There's lots going on here at Elf Lair HQ. I've gone through and sorted my backer lists, my shipping boxes are in, and the Night Companion WILL START SHIPPING THIS WEEK! Woohoo! We're on the cusp of our second Kickstarter successfully fulfilled.
New Quick Start Rules
In other news, we released our NEW FREE Quick Start rules yesterday. This one replaces our prior one, which will no longer be available on DTRPG (and the new one will REPLACE the original in your file library). So if you downloaded the original and want to keep it, be sure you don't save over it.
The reason for this is twofold:
1. The original was thrown together quickly during the original Night Shift: VSW Kickstarter just to showcase the system for backers. We think the new adventure, written by Derek Stoelting, is superior, and the presentation of the rules much cleaner.
2. We have pulled By the Blood of the New Moon, revised it somewhat, cleaned it up, and added a lot of rules references and a tighter connection to A Faustian Dilemma. It is now going to form part of the print GM Screens and GM Toolkit when they release.
If you're coming to Gary Con this March, the plan is to have limited print versions of the Quick Start to pass out (free) there. That, however, depends on the printer having time to get them done in their schedule before March. Fingers crossed!
Progress on GM Screens and Toolkits
Speaking of the Night Shift: VSW GM Screens, the GM Toolkit booklets are at press as we speak. I expect them to ship to me within a couple weeks, at which point they'll need to be packaged with the screens, then will go on sale. We already have them available for pre-order at the website, if you want to be among the first get one!

New Website
We have also completely revamped and redesigned our website, and migrated the entire thing over to Square. It's much more modern, sleek, better organized, and is all in one place. Hopefully you'll check it out. Keep an eye out for more developments over there in the near future.
The Future of Elf Lair Games
We have a TON of very cool stuff in the works. I can't talk about any of it yet because when you do that, it ends up with you getting accused of creating vaporware, and nobody wants that! But stay tuned, there are more sourcebooks, more adventures, and more good stuff coming. We even may have a few more core role playing games in the works from gritty swords-and-sorcery fantasy to sci-fi and beyond. The options are limitless with games that are Powered by O.G.R.E.S. and Powered by O.R.C.S....
